I have been working with GM on the use of TRIZ concepts in the design of their new Volt car. The situation there, as you might imagine, is dire. In this particular area, they are trying very hard to keep their head above water in the midst of the corporate situation.

TRIZ Separation Principles–does it have to be the same translucency at all time? In response to what (line of evolution–dynamism)? Can think of all kinds of possibilities here.

CREAX had some innovative idea posted in its newsletter a couple of months ago featuring fluent (sun-?)glasses. Apart from that: please, tackle the problem of combining different focal lengths in one lens, combined with sun protection effect. “Normal” lenses combining all these effects get thicker as bottle bases and only offer a very narrow field for viewing far distances. Thanks.
