“From Russia With Love” is more than just the name of a James Bond movie! This month, it also means that we have reports from the happenings at this year’s TRIZ Developers Summit in St. Petersburg (Days 1 and 2, Day 3, Days 4 and 5). The theme for this month’s issue, though, is returning authors. Each has previously published an article on The TRIZ Journal and we’re happy to have them back this month.
- Consider entropy and the ideal final result in a new submission by Joseph Marotta.
- How to teach TRIZ is always an interesting topic of discussion and Darrell Mann continues the conversation in “In Search of the Ideal TRIZ Teaching Method.”
- Abram Teplitsky is back with two articles this month. The first: a look at a few examples of how TRIZ can be seen in patents, even when not intentionally used. The second: a continuation of a Student Corner article on the usefulness of shape memory alloys.
- The TRIZ Journal’s founding editor Ellen Domb shares a byline this month with Joe Miller in “The Complete Technical System and System Operator” – a familiar concept with new applications.
Submit Your Articles!
Don’t let one issue of all returning authors stop you from submitting your first piece for publication! We’re always happy to see submissions from first-time authors.
Until September, happy TRIZ reading!
