The Latin American QFD Society supported by the International Council for QFD, an alliance of QFD practitioners and researchers from various countries that coordinates QFD events world wide, is
issuing a call for papers to be presented in Monterrey, Mexico at the 10th International Symposium on Quality Function Deployment , November 17th through 19th, 2004.

Since the first International Symposium on Quality Function Deployment, QFD has progressed tremendously, as it was deployed by various industries as quality assurance method during new product development. It has been incorporated into QS9000. QFD itself has cultivated infinate fields of application such as policy management, problem solving methods, TRIZ, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.

The 10th International Symposium is an ideal opportunity for presenters and participants alike to share insights with individuals from a broad spectrum of industries and locations.

Both completed projects and applications and those still in progress are candidates for presentation. Presentations that excite attendees include:

* Industry success stories.
* Unusual QFD applications and aproaches.
* Unique solutions to challenging others
* Service applications.
