Reverse Innovation

Traditionally, rich nations have developed innovations and transferred them to developing nations. Reverse innovation is the opposite; i.e. innovating in developing nations (for example, India, Africa, and so forth) and bringing those products to rich nations. Reverse innovation has increased in importance as high growth is increasingly occurring in developing nations like China.
